Question about baby carriers/ slings...?
What I'm wondering is, anyone have a recommendation for a carrier that meets ALL of the following criteria Has buckles and or snaps to hold the baby in place NOT just a fabric or ring sling Is ergonomically good for the baby, but unlike the Ergo carrier, cause both an inward AND outward position for the baby. I used a Baby Bjorn previously and really loved it, but I know that type are not best for a baby's spine . has proper support for use with a newborn. Please don't inform me about why slings are better. I tried and failed with many with my first child. I know what I like and am comfortable with. Thanks

HELP PLEASE-baby carrier poll?
I am looking for a good baby carrier for my 1 month old son. I bought an over the shoulder baby holder brand sling for him. It claimed to be the best sling on the market but I felt like he was going to fall out of it and I ended up having to use my hands to hold him steady which completely defeats the purpose of a baby carrier which is to be HANDS FREE. Maybe I put him in the sling incorrectly??? Now I'm looking for a new baby carrier and I was wondering if you moms out there can help me decide among all of the options in baby carriers by giving me your reviews and letting me know what worked for you I'd really appreciate the help I'm willing to spend up to $30, I've been looking at the used carriers on Ebay...
Suggestions on a baby carrier, please (other than wrap carriers)?
I'm looking to get a second baby carrier. I have a wrap carrier that I love, but it does take a lot to get on. I need the carrier for when we go into stores, and I just am looking for one that I can use with her facing outward. Sometimes it's just more of a pain to get the wrap carrier on when I'm only going to be in the store for 5 10 minutes. I have a toddler, so I also need the room in the stroller for her. This is also for a baby that I sit for, so I don't really want to spend a while lot of money on one of the nicer ones, but I just want one that is comfortable and will serve it's purpose. So does anyone have any recommendations for a SIMPLE not a wrap one carrier that is inexpensive but still good?
I need to find the BEST baby carrier available...?
I have a 14 week old son who weighs 13 pounds. I work full time as a nanny to five other children, so I am looking to buy a baby carrier for him to make things easier for me. I have looked at quite a few, but i would like to get some advice on which baby carriers would be most comfortable for both me and my child. I am also looking for one that i will be able to use for him for months to come. Thanks
Generic drool pads for straps of Ergo baby carrier?
I know that Ergo sells " sucking pads" , but when your baby soaks through half a dozen bibs a day, let's face it those would be mighty expensive. Since there are many other baby carriers with similar straps, I'm wondering if there's a more pocket friendly alternative. My searches are coming up empty.
