Does Sears/Kmart have "Jeweler" quality Cubic Zirconiam in their engagement rings?
I'm looking at Sears White gold, CZ engagement rings and then some at a couple of Jewelry stores. however, Sear's sale price is tremendously different. Does anyone know if these CZ's are a " high jeweler" grade?I do not want a diamond though...does Zale's carry CZ's?

Blue Nile engagement rings?
i've been looking at engagement rings and it seems like the retail stores don't have very good quality diamonds, and if they are the ring is like 4000. I looked at Blue Nile and I made a ring with a very good quality diamond, good on all 4 cs, and it was just under 2000. Is blue nile a legit place to get good quality diamonds, like it seems to be? When I look at Zales all of the 1 2 to 3 4 carat rings have I1 clarity which is terrible and they are over 2000. What is your opinion?
Where can I find rough diamond engagement rings in Canada?
I recently saw an engagement ring on the internet that had a rough diamond as the centre diamond and then a bunch of small diamonds on the band and around the centre diamond. I am now in love with rough diamond jewelery and would like one for my engagement ring. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find a retailer in Canada that carries rough diamond jewelery? Classic engagement rings with a bit of a twist?
The main characters in a book I'm writing are getting engaged. He has picked out the ring and I'm having trouble finding a picture of ring that fits my idea of what he would pick. He is a gentlemen, a bit old fashioned but he has a bit of a rebelious or smart ass streak, but only in a good way. She is a classic beauty and she would be the type to go for a very traditional ring. So I'm looking for a picture of a ring that is traditional or classic in most ways but has a bit of a twist off of the traditional. If you could send me links to pictures that would be great Thanks Those are gorgeous S.P., but maybe a little too traditional for what I'm looking for...I need something with a unique twist to it.
What is a good site to find vintage style diamond engagement rings?
Do promise rings look any different than engagement rings?
I mean obviously there are similarities but I can't think any differences other than cost and extravagance.Oh, and I know the people that have already answered won't see this but for future viewers, I am asking because I am indeed going to get a promise ring for its intended purpose. I just can't find many rings actually advertised as a " promise ring" .

my fiancee and I have been engaged for a little over a week.i had my engagement party tonight with some of my close girls and their friends. all females and after dinner while we were eating dessert all of us were sharing stories and talking about how their proposals went and their engagement rings. so they asked me to pass around my ring and so i did..i just didn't like some of the faces that were made. comments like " well that's not a tiffany is it ha ha" and " oh let me get my glasses i cant see the diamond" one asked me " was this what you wanted?" and i honestly replied no..since i was a teen i have been a fan of the original tiffany solitaire engagement ring but i wasnt going to complain.now not all my friends are rich or have rich husbands but all of them have decent engagement rings.and theyre not all from designer jewelers but at least theyre from a jewelry store and not a department store. i did feel a little upset with my ring even before my party.my ring is .10 carats. color M lowest scale of faint yellow...its actually a little grayish instead of yellow and the setting is in 10 carat gold. from target. it was $165.my future maid of honor who was at my party said you can just get him to make it up with a nice wedding band, after everyone was saying a ring should at least be $1000.im not a shallow person and i dont really have many nice expensive things and i know that it should be about the meaning. and it is a cute ring but i always thought an engagement ring would be one of the most nicest pieces of jewelry..something you can pass down.is it normal to feel this way?would you be upset with the ring? how is your engagement ring?thank you the thing is that hes 34..he was remarried and he told me his ex's ring was about 1k...?
